Hollow Point question
Somebody told me yesterday that it is illegal to have hollow point ammo in your carry weapon. Any truth to this statement ?? Thank you.

Re: Hollow Point question
It is worth noting that we should be careful about having any HP ammo after crossing the Ben Franklin Bridge. Once in NJ, the rules about ammo possession (not to mention firearms ownership/carry) and transport change.
see: http://www.njsp.org/about/fire_hollow.html
Seems to suggest that mere possession of the HP ammo alone can get you into trouble if you don't fall into one of the exceptions referenced in the statute.

Re: Hollow Point question
no one knows the laws here
I have a 1919 and I can own as many links as I want as long as there not linked over 15,
I cant own the cloth belts unless I cut them so I link in 15 rds when I get to the range in PA I put them together
I can own a WASR 10 but not a semi auto AK I had trubble buying a SAIGA but got it.
I can own a AR 15 rifle or carbine a M1 garand but not a M1 carbine even with no bay lug.
and I can go on
I wish I had the cash to buy some land up there
