Sorry, I love revolvers!
Everywhere I go, this site, other gun sites, or even the gun shop, I see and hear guys and gals clamoring over semi- auto pistols. Well, I'm here to praise the qualities of the revolver. I own both, but revolvers are my go to guns. I'm tired of shells ejecting all over the place and then crawling around to clean them up. I'm tired of jams and/or hangups. I'm tired of racking a stiff slide.
With my revolvers, I just load the cylinder, shoot, and unload the brass. Granted, semis have more shots, are easier to conceal, and most likely have more caliber choices, but I'm old and love the EASE of a revolver. They are easy to shoot, come in a variety of barrels, easy to clean, accurate, very reliable and they look good. You just can't beat a .357 magnum revolver.
Semis are ok and good luck with them, but I love my revolvers

Me Too!
Wheel guns still have their place. If I could own only one handgun it would be a .357 (preferably a 686 4")FUCK BIDEN

Re: Sorry, I love revolvers!
nailer, I own both as well and guess what my revolvers are my favorite. I usually carry a 5 shot S & W c.a. 1970's Model 36 J frame. I have, however, on many occasions carried a 6 shot S & W c.a. 1970's Model 15 K frame without a hint of a print.
I also carry a nine round dump pouch because you never know....
Best,
Kobsw

Don't apologize ain't nothing wrong with a Good wheel gun!! I have two myself I wish I would have kept the others revovlers that I sold. They be worth many Bucks now almost double what I paid for them. Hindsight.
Still one of the Best type Guns you can count on, pending brand name.

I always enjoy shooting my revolvers way more than semis. I get to spend more time shooting and less time picking up brass! You simply cannot beat 100% brass recovery!

Re: Sorry, I love revolvers!
I've always been a semi-auto guy, but just bought my first wheelgun on Monday. I'm moving to Colorado in 2 weeks and needed something with more power for hiking . Went with a .357 magnum and picked up some buffalo bore 180gr hardcast rounds. At 1400 fps and over 750 foot pounds at the muzzle, I consider myself well protected. You can't get that kind of power from a semi-auto. Sure the 10mm comes close but I don't have a fortune to spend on ammo.

Love means never having to say your sorry.

Re: Sorry, I love revolvers!
I'm a wheelgun fan too despite the fact I have quite a few semiautos. I have a S&W Model 40 that is almost too pretty to carry. Lately, I've had my eye on both a Colt Trooper and a Ruger Security Six. I'm going to Oaks this weekend to compare prices. I think my local gun shop is asking way too much for either of them.
