Default Another New Addition to the brood...

I took my LCP and traded it in on a new Sig P238 Sport. Complete with Hogue grips and night sights and what appears to be a TFO sight on the front.

Thanks again to Chris Smith at Ace for feeding my habit...!!

    Pics included...

Definately a solid trade up! I hated my LCP. I traded it in for a SW 442 and never looked back.

Question Re: Another New Addition to the brood...

Are you still able to pocket carry with the extended mag and Hogue grips?? I handled one at a local fun shop and was impressed....

I was torn between the S&W Bodyguard and the P238. What sold me was the feel of the gun in hand, the extended mag with the pinky rest, and the night/TFO sights. I like the feel of the Bodyguard and the built in laser, but it was still a little small and felt like I had to shift the grip to get a good firing grip.

Also I loved the LCP, it is a well built little gun, I just felt like a change.

I imagine I could, Chris carries one all the time and he uses a pocket holster. I am gonna try a DeSantis Thumb break leather for belt carry and I am looking for a pocket option that covers the safety . The Nemesis I has for the LCP went with it to sweeten the deal, but I will likely get one again. Might drive to Cabela's and snoop through the pocket holster options.

Nice! I really like the little Sig, very purrty.
These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Thomas Paine 1776

Love the gun, pricey but well worth it...wouldn't even put it up against the LCP.

Very nice upgrade, I don't like sub compacts but that is a nice sig you got there, I would never even think of buying a LCP so any upgrade from them is a good choice IMO
