Need support for victim / activist
Folks,
Gun owners in Ohio owe a large debt to Nikki Goeser for her help in getting our Restaurant Carry bills passed, and now we have a chance to repay that debt.
For those who may not know her story, Nikki's husband Ben was murdered right in front of her, by her stalker, in a karaoke bar while her gun was secured in her car in accordance with Tennessee state law at the time. She came to Columbus at least twice and testified to our state legislature, and I have heard her speak twice at other pro-gun events in Ohio.
As some of you may know, they finally had a trial for that SOB who killed her husband, (after three years) and found him guilty of second degree murder. The man who made her a widow could be sentenced to as little as 15 years or as much as 25. With credit for time served, (3 years) and time off for good behavior, this lunatic could be out on the streets in less than ten years, and stalking Nikki once again.
Nikki is asking her pro-gun friends to write letters to the sentencing judge in the case requesting the maximum sentence.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 30, 2012, at 9:00am.
This is the page she directed me to for information on where to write:

Please write nice, polite letters to
The Hon. Seth Norman, Judge
Davidson County Criminal Court, Div. IV
408 2nd Avenue North
Nashville, TN 37201
Re: Hank Wise, Case No: 2009-C-2653
and request that he sentence Hank Wise to the maximum sentence under the law.
Please do not take this request lightly,
I thank you all for your support,
Respectfully,
Chuck LaRosa
