What kind of business would condone carrying in the workplace?
I've seen several threads recently with people asking about carrying at work, leaving it in the car while at work etc.
I am curious, what type of business would allow/support a worker carrying a firearm while in the workplace?
Obviously police and security personnel. Gun shops. Maybe some sporting goods stores (I doubt at REI).
Would the owner of a convenience store want the clerk to be armed?
I don't have an answer. I am just throwing it out there for discussion.

Gun shops, that's about it. Everywhere else it is either prohibited or frowned on due to liability/insurance.
Any mission, any conditions, any foe at any range.
Twice the mayhem, triple the force.
Ten times the action, total hardcore.

Pawn shops, and the last time I saw someone OC'ing in the wild other than during an OC event, the Columbia Drive-In theater.

I would do business with a sign like this.

Not in the military, that's for sure. Unless you're deployed. And even then it can't be loaded while inside the wire.

Are ya talking a business where one deals with the public?
I carried when I was behind the counter of a gun shop , of course. It was in a mini-strip mall and I would openly carry walking around or going to lunch within the center. Most other shoppes either didn't mind or actually liked it.
I've had jobs that didn't mind my carrying to & from , and I would simply take my gun/holster and place it atop my tool box while working.I don't speak English , I talk American!

I can see the owner of a small pawn shop, but do you think that all the clerks in Pawn Stars are packing? I know they have security guards/bouncers in the store.
If we had corner liquor stores, I would think the clerk would keep a short shotgun behind the counter.
What was the guy at the Drive In doing?

I don't know about support per se, but I carry at work minding don't ask/don't tell game. However I bet quite few employees might suspect that I carry and my immediate boss knows that for certain and has no problem with it. And yeah... it's a safety and security consulting company. Bookworms, if you may say. We write SOPs and such.
