    Default Carrying in NM just got alot harder.

    Saw this on the Cheaper than Dirt site. Make sure you read the updated list of what is accepted and not accepted now. I received AZ so I could carry in NM and now neither AZ, FL, or UT are accepted.

    Oh well. I'm still waiting on that national carry bill.

    I did a rough count and it looks like they now exclude 44 states.

    Yep, recounted and they only recognize 5 states. Funny thing is that they want other states to recognize their permits.

    According to an update on Handgunlaw.us, NM only honor's these states as of April


    Missouri
    Nebraska
    North Carolina
    North Dakota
    Oklahoma

    I've open carried there a few times and it wasn't a big deal.

    Last I checked, there are only fifty states even though Obongo thinks otherwise.

    They exclude 44 wnd recognize 5 which makes 49. Throw in New Mexico and we have 50. I think.
