Berettas 92 and 96 questions...

ok, so i have an M9 (92FS) and was wondering if a 96FS slide and barrel would not only fit on it, but work correctly...

no sense in purchasing a new pistol if i can just change out the top end when i want to shoot .40 cal.

i do plan on purchasing the .22LR conversion kit some day as well... i guess i try to make every weapon multi use as possible... lol

ok, curiosity got me... but that site is down now...

so, do i need a complete upper end change or just the barrel and mag?

complete upper. the breach face is different, as are other parts.

hmm... might cost almost as much to purchase a couple new mags and a COMPLETE upper as it would to just buy a 96FS... i guess i will have to try to find a 96 upper for sale to see the prices...
