    Default SR1911 Sighting in Philly

Was passing by Lock's gun shop this morning, so decided to stop by and see if any reloading supplies wanted to come home with me.

After looking around awhile i noticed an SR1911 in the case. Price on the tag says $695.

I know its high, but i know quite a few people are looking for one.

Just thought I'd pass it along.

Yes, I have seen them higher, and to be honest i would have wrestled with myself not to pick it up if i weren't already on a list with a deposit given.

It helps that my price will be $619 when it comes in.

I had one on backorder at Express Police Supply for $591 I believe. But they sadly went out of business....... Someday I'll get one, just keep getting distracted by shiny objects.

i dont understand why this pistol is so desirable

i mean, yeah, at its suggested price its a really nice deal. a quality 1911 made by a good company sold at an affordable price.

but now all the lust for it plus low production has ppl paying way more than necessary. you can get colts for the prices some ppl are paying for rugers....it's just silly guys

Like i said, just putting it out there because i know some want one badly. Some guys may be able to justify 695.

I got disgusted at waiting and bought a SIG 1911 XO instead. I like it better than the Ruger, glad I got pissed and bought it instead.
