Default Franconia TWP Police - NFA Friendly?

Thinking about a suppressor, and I know the local police chief has to sign off on the transfer form.

Anybody from Franconia township know whether he's amenable to such things? I will just ask him personally before I start the process if nobody knows, but thought I'd see if there's anybody in my area who knows.

I don't know if he is but the County sheriff will sign. So if he doesn't sign, you can get Sheriff Behr to sign.
Hafa Adai! IANAL I merely state my opinion. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Great - thanks. Do you have experience with Sheriff Behr signing off on these?

Anyone know why the main PAFOA page for counties (http://www.pafoa.org/counties) lists Montco as non-NFA-friendly?

This info would be really helpful.

Just spoke to Chief Kozeniewski and he was very friendly and said he has signed the forms before and has no problem doing so.

He joked, "You're not planning on doing any espionage with your suppressor are you?"

A pleasant encounter with Police. Who knew?

Much of that is out of date.

Frankly, other than the forums, I don't think this website gets much updating.
Just look at the front page. The "latest news" item is from November 2010.
