    Default First Lower build

Well I built my first lower today it was pretty fun. Everything went well. The detents are a small PITA but not too badd. Heres what I used
    Spikes Stripped Lower
    PSA MOE Parts kit
    PSA Milspec Tube kit
    Magpul STR

I do have one question. When the hammer is dropped I cannot move the safety selector. I checked my plumcrazy lower and it moves whether the hammer is cocked or dropped but my new build the selector only moves when the hammer is cocked. Is this normal? I read the safety check section on AR15.com and it says its right but why does my Plumcrazy move whenever? Anyways here are some pics

congrats. looks good. you are correct that the saftey should only move when the hammer is cocked. dont know why your other lower does it both ways but its probably out of spec. make sure your not dropping that hammer with out a upper attached. if you do disengage it with the upper removed make sure you ride it forward so you dont damage your lower.

Nice Builds. It only become more addicting. But RGB03 is right, the safety selector should only move when the hammer is 'cocked'

Well then I guess everything went as good as it could of. I also have to say that I love the STR stock. It feels great when holding it. A little on the heavy side but thats the only downside to it. And as far as addicting yes I can see that to be true. It was alot of fun to put this together.
