How long does a Glock last ?

456 - That one will do thanks for posting it up. It does show the Glock 18 in all its awesome power. I hear you can get accurate with that pistol, I don't see how but I guess with practice and some LUCK. Talk about Sray and pray.

That AK47 on fire video was crazy as hell why endanger yourself shooting a gun that is on fire, flaming hot!!

I'm fairly certain that isn't a Glock 18 in the video. At one point you seem him futzing with a knob on the back of the slide. There's a way to modify at G17 to fire full auto and it involves installing a knob like that.

If it were a Glock 18, it would have a select fire switch, like this.

Of course, one wouldn't want to go on the inturwebs and advertise one has a modified G17, now would they?

Here's a modified G17, kind of looks like the one in the video, right?

I got about 20k on my G17. I just screwed up my barrel with a squib round but other than that no problems. Ordered new barrel and springs and it's back in business. The tabs on the frame still look good.

You will spend 10's of thousands of dollars in ammo to wear out a glock (or any gun for that matter). If you shoot that much, does 500 for another gun really matter?
