Im starting a Gardening Business
After working 3 years as the #1 assistant for a well known urban gardener in Philly I've decided to branch out on my own and service my area in the suburbs.
The Home Garden Guy, LLC
http://homegardenguy.com/
My focus is on edibles. I want to make it easy and enjoyable for people to grow and harvest their own food. So I do all the prep work to the garden and hand it off to you to reap the reward of hard work.
My services include:
Edible garden design
Installation
Soil building
Compost delivery
Tilling
Irrigation systems
Garden maintenance
Also im currently looking for another garden tractor for my herd. I'd like to have a dedicated tilling/plowing tractor. I prefer the machines from the mid-late 60s thru late 70s. if anyone has one for sale please contact me.
Thanks,

Re: Im starting a Gardening Business
I'm using a '30 something Gravely at my house. It came from my Grandfather and will never be for sale, but if I ever have to buy one, it will be a Gravely.
Good Luck with your business! I think home gardens are on the rise, and you should be able to exploit that.

Good luck with your business! I'm probably preaching to the choir but I'd try to talk to every restaurant owner/chef in the area. What a huge market trend right now promoting locally grown produce in their menus and recipes.
I can't offer you work, I'm a simple little tomato and bean gardener.

I can't grow any veggies, too much deer damage as it is to my regular garden & landscaping, my neighbor has one & it's a losing battle for him every year. We've tried about everything out there except a 12 ft. fence, haha
