Default Tips for funding your gun buying habits! (addiction)

How do you guys fund your gun buying? Please post your methods. Here is my method. First of all I am lucky and have a good job with good benefits. But I also have 4 kids and a wife. I have always done side work on the weekends and that money was for my gun budget. The last four or five years I have been selling firewood and lots of it. For some reason I love doing it. I have a great list of customers now and deliver year round. I have many customers that I can deliver almost a year before they need it so that eliminates me from having to stack and let dry. So I have log truck loads of firewood poles delivered and cut, split, and toss in the old dump truck. I work at it couple evenings a week and weekends. All the hard work has really been paying off and my collection has been growing.

wish I had that kinda stamina! I'd be buying a new gun every pay! And still have money left over!

I make decent money with decent benefits, still live with my parents, yes at 27... who cares, my sisters 30 and she does too! This is how I fund my addiction, haha

I have a bucket on my dresser that gets all my spare change. Whether it be coinage, dollars or several dollars. Been throwing 20s and multiples of that denomination in there lately .. recently all but drained it to purchase my latest .. a 92A1.
Time to start all over again.

I started working as a manwhore.

Business has been bad.. I haven't gotten a new gun in a couple months.
The problem with shooting Chinese bullets is 15 minutes later you wanna shoot again.

I get up five days a week, sometimes six, and go to work.

I also found a very good shop that has a good selection that does layaway. I have been paying on something or the other for about fifteen years.

Maybe your rates are too high for quality of service performed?

I have been setting any extra money aside. Mileage checks from work any thing that does not come from my Pay check. I also don't buy many guns. I have bought 3 in the last 3 years but before that I went 15 years with out buying any. I don't really spend money on anything else, it's just been super tight.

I just bought a 15-22 and now am working on reloading supplies. So, I can shoot something besides .22.

I would also like to get a M&P 22 to go along with the other .22's. My Son and I have really been enjoying them. My Daughter has even started to show some interest.....Oh darn, now I have to start setting aside money for her .22. My wife is under some crazy notion that I don't need any more firearms????

I'm under the new plan of letting them trickle in.
These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Thomas Paine 1776

After work I umpire baseball and softball games. The verbal abuse is a great motivator to daydream about what guns I might want.
