Handmade Burgers w/Protection

Made some burgers last night for the fiancee and her brother, man were they good burgers!

Yes five fit on a dinner plate. They weren't sliders nor White Castle copies. I make a rendition of a local joints Harley Burger.

Burger meat
Chili powder
Cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper
Cumin
Smoked Paprika
Onions

Mix it all together and grill!

Next time you make them try mixing in some ground lamb.

I made some really good burgers late year by using a mix of ground beef, ground pork and ground lamb.

Like Lamb, but we're sick of ground Lamb. We've been making Greek burgers with it and the last batch was gamey in flavor. I do however use that mixture for meatloaf.

I had actually planned on making meatloaf before I saw this thread this morning.

Here it is before cooking.



2lbs ground beef
1lb ground pork
1lb ground lamb
2 eggs
1/2 cup onions
1tsp black pepper
1tbsp kosher salt
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 pint homemade chili sauce

Not sure why you cannot see them, but I still can. So it's there and they were protected.
