Just ordered a .40 S&W barrel for my 10mm
I really enjoy shooting my Dan Wesson Razorback, but finding brass can be a problem. I have a good supply, but I never come home from the range with as much as i take.
CZ has .40 S&W barrels which I was told "should" drop in, but have it checked by a gunsmith. Hope it drops right in. I may have to change springs, but because I have 20lb springs installed.

I own 3 10mm guns and never would consider changing one over to 40. Just my personal preference. Good luck and hope all goes well.
What range do you shoot at...Id love to have your missing brass hehehwww.Steelvalleycasting.com is your new home for coated bullets and custom ammo.

Re: Just ordered a .40 S&W barrel for my 10mm
Well, you go down the road apiece, and take a left by the big old tree.....
yeah, 10mm brass isn't something you find readily on the range.
I normally wouldn't either, but I have lots of brass left from when I had a .40 handgun. I would like to compete with my Razorback, and won't feel like I am losing a lot of money when I can't find my brass. Just another option.
Aint the 10mm awesome?

I have two caliber options. I can shoot 40 and 10mm out of the same weapon. If I want to shoot IDPA I'll do it with the 40.

To each their own I guess. I'm not familiar with competition shooting restrictions, but i'm to guess that 10mm isn't allowed?

no 10mm has a higher recoil which reduces your follow up on targets. plus its expensive as shit to shoot alot of
but oh man it sure is fun.

I'd buy a .40 barrel too, I like to have options. I never found 10mm brass laying at the range in all the years I have been going. Guys who shoot 10mm usually are the guys that reload and pick up their brass. You have to look around a bit for once fired 10mm brass but its out there.

Re: Just ordered a .40 S&W barrel for my 10mm
I have a Kimber Custom Eclipse II in 10mm. I have also wanted a .40 barrel just because I have a very good supply of .40 ammo and don't have as much time in front of the Dillon as I would like. The Kimber has a ramped barrel. Can anyone recommend a good .40 barrel for this gun that would hopefully be drop in. If you have a source, even better.
