Just stippled an M&P backstrap, what do you guys think?
Here's my first attempt at stippling...it's a backstrap for my friend's M&P. I did it on the backstrap that he's not using, just to see if he likes it. Will probably do the other backstrap, front strap and some of the side of the frame (where your left thumb would rest) soon.

Sweet, you should do the front now too.

Thanks, ignore the weird part on the back, we were experimenting with different patterns.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I was really surprised myself at how it turned out.
I just left my friends house so I can't get a picture tonight, but it was basically the same short "lines" but in straight rows...and it actually goes all the way around and covers the opposite side of the grip. It looks cool but we both liked the starburst pattern better. I'll see if I can get him to take some pictures of that side.

Here are some more pics:
I definitely prefer the "starburst" pattern over the lines, the pattern is more functional and looks better.
Once I get the Apex parts installed on the M&P (DCAEK, RAM, AEK trigger) and the Ameriglo sights, I'll have bac0nfat do the stippling on the backstrap, front strap, thumb rest on the frame, and possibly under the trigger guard

Very nice! I like how you centered it then spread it out.

I like it. I know that 'starburst' takes a bit of patience. You'll enjoy doing the frame, the polymer is much harder than the grip material so it takes a bit longer and more pressure with the iron to make an equivalent mark. I found it more forgiving of some minor errors.
Good luck.

That looks really good, including the back part! Looks like something I'd consider even paying for, quality-wise.
