On the application it says that even if you are renewing the process is exactly the same and you will have to provide new references.
Not sure what could be done.. I know it's been discussed before and one guy even claimed to have succeeded in contesting it. Honestly I just want my ltcf and don't have the money for lawyers.

Just to update: I picked up my ltcf card earlier in the month . It took 44 days I believe. One of my references procrastinated and didn't send it in until there was a week left. Cut it pretty close. My oldfaithful holster is on it's way
