    Default Legality question

Hey all, I have a friend from Mass, and he is a competitive shotgunner. He lives in Philly, and wants to bring his shotgun down here. He asked me if there are any laws that he needs to comply with, and as far as I know he's completely fine, but I thought I would just run it by here quickly before I do giving advice.

    Thanks!

Nothing to really worry about. Make sure he gets his LTCF to cover his butt since he lives in Philly.

    Hey bud,

All he needs to do is stick it in the trunk of his vehicle in a container, unloaded, and he should be fine. When I travel up there, I separate the barrel from the receiver of the weapon and make sure no ammo is stored with it. He should have zero problems getting down legally.

He should also watch the speed limit and make sure all his lights work. No need to give a cop a reason to pull you over. I'm always surprised at the "encounter" stories that begin with "I got pulled over for speeding..."

You live in Philly? Friend lives in Philly too or in Massachusetts or a friend from Mass (church)

    These things matter

If he travels from/in/to Philly, he needs a LTCF. Shotgun MUST be unloaded
