    Default Desk gun

A gun in a desk? I wonder what would be the use for this type of gun. I guess to a collector it maybe be interesting.

Language is a great thing lol . . . saw "Desk Gun" and thought "Hmmm. Any .45 will fit in a desk . . . wonder what the group will recommend."

Turns out it was a "Gun Desk".

Or is that a desk for guns?

There was a time when all kinds of off the wall firearm inventions were coming out.

I recall seeing a gun that was worn on the back and a string set it off, the idea was that if a robber came up to you from behind demanding your money, you pull the string and let him have it.
I've seen plans for helmet guns, the Germans "developed" that long barreled Mauser with a curved barrel for shooting around corners, etc...

Like this desk, probably just a guy with too much time on his hands and some weird thoughts about self defense at the time.
