Thought I'd give some feedback on a Glock 23 that I recently had Magnaported .

Pros:

Reduced muzzle flip by at least 50% - muzzle barely seems to move now.

No increased effort in cleaning or fouling of the front site after 200 rds (front nite site is slill clearly visable).

Change in recoil mechanics - it is now more of a straight push back like a .45 ACP and not the up and back snap of a .40 S&W.

No gas blow back (in walled range lane)

Cons:

No perceived reduction in recoil - jut different as stated above.

Port cuts in the frame are a bit sharp ( although the EDM machining was excellent)

Increased report - say about 15% - much less than expected tho

Undetermined:

Port blast - Remington & Speer target loads, and Golden Sabres did not produce any decernable increase in blast out the ports in a decently lit range - but I would have to do some nite shooting to really evaluate if there would be any effects on nite vision.

All in all - I am probably sending my G22 out to get Magnaported in the near future.
