Convertible kydex holster search
I know I saw it somewhere but I cannot find it. Someone mentioned a company that makes leather/kydex holsters similar to Crossbreed but allowing the kydex part to be changed out to use with different guns. I'm not talking about the Comp Tac Minotaur, but one that looks like crossbreed.
Anybody recall this?

Re: Convertible kydex holster search
Unfortunately, I'm only familiar with MTAC. I will say this though, I started with 1 back and 2 kydex bodies and quickly purchased another back. It's not a big deal nor hard to switch but the pain in the a$$ factor was great enough to just get another back.
A couple of times it seemed like I was getting ready to go, grabbed the holster and it was set-up for the gun I wasn't going to carry. Just something to think about.

I'm pretty sure you're referring to the MaxTuck by White Hat Holsters. Looks pretty good; I'm digging the "antique cowboy" horsehide finish.

Yes, Whitehat is the one! Old Faithful will also work except their replacement shells are molded but not drilled and trimmed.
