Failure to feed question?
Excuse my ignorance, but what is rim lock and how does it happen?

I've only heard about rimlock on this forum.
Apparently, it's when the rounds shift around in the magazine and don't feed properly, and when they jam it jams the gun up pretty bad. But it seems to mostly be limited to small calibers (.32acp is the one most mentioned here).
If Valorious chimes in, he's who posted what I read about it.

I've seen it happen before, but never heard the term. Learn something new every day, thanks for the link to photos...
