Reading Anthracite-carry friendly?
Anybody here ride or four wheel on Reading Anthracite property? Me and a buddy are getting the permits to four wheel there and are planning a weekend to go out there and camp at either Locust Lake or Tuscarora and wheel all day at RAC. They mention no alcohol, drugs, or fires on their land, but that's about it. I'll call tomorrow but I just figured I'd see if anyone here knew. I'm a PRoNJ resident but my buddy is a PA resident and has his LTCF. I was thinking of getting a FL permit but just haven't gotten around to it.

Re: Reading Anthracite-carry friendly?
I believe they allow hunting, so I would assume they allow guns to be carried.
Update: On the waiver form, it does mention hunting. You must show them a valid hunting license in addition to obtaining the access permit.

Re: Reading Anthracite-carry friendly?
I believe having a loaded firearm on an ATV is illegal...

I'm interested to know too. Once my Jeep build is done, I've thought of trying to get in there.
@ IHDiesel73L - Off topic, but are you on Expo too? If so, I've always wanted to pick your brain some time on your watergap area explorations.Keep perspective, recognize the good in your enemies and the bad in your friends.

Re: Reading Anthracite-carry friendly?
That statute was modified by Act 2008-131 to allow carry by licensees & LEOs:
18 Pa CSA 6109(m.2) Inconsistent provisions.--Notwithstanding the provisions of section 7506 (relating to violation of rules regarding conduct on Commonwealth property), 75 Pa.C.S. § 7727 (relating to additional limitations on operation) or the act of June 28, 1995 (P.L.89, No.18), known as the Conservation and Natural Resources Act, and regulations promulgated under that act, a firearm may be carried as provided in subsection (a) by:
(1) a law enforcement officer whose current identification as a law enforcement officer shall be construed as a valid license to carry a firearm; or
(2) any licensee.IANAL
