Default It Just Keeps Speaking to Me

I picked my Springfield Pro up about a month ago and have slightly more than 700 rounds through it. I simply can't get over the accuracy of this pistol. The trigger is fitted exceptionally well and there is virtually no vertical or horizontal movement. The barrel and bushing are hard fit. The barrel hood actually "snicks" into battery in the slide. The frame/slide fit is tight with zero play. She is back with Springfield right now getting a 10-8 performance u-notch rear sight and Wilson Bullet Proof Ambi Safety installed. Miss this lead slinger so I thought I'd post her up.

Damn, that's sexy. I'd like to think I'll be able to spoil myself with something like that for my 30th.

Good looking gun and it seems pretty accurate. That makes it fun to shoot it looks a lot like my Kimber except for the SA marking. I like the mag well extention are they 3rd party or did it come with the Pro Custom pkg?
    What type finish is that?

Very nice. I'm diggin' the grips and the grip screws. It's those little things that can make a big difference. Although the screws are only nice to look at, those grips have an interesting thumb notch that I bet makes it nicer to shoot.

Hey folks, thank you for taking a look at her.

The magwell came just the way it is in the photos from the Springfield. It is all hand-blended. I have a whole new level of respect for their custom shop.

The finish is Black-T. I love the way it looks. Depending on how it holds up I might start having all my guns coated with it. I think a Hi Power in Black-T would be the cat's ass.

The grips and grip-screws came from VZ. They are called VZ Aliens. They can be ordered right off their website. There is an option for the thumb cut.

Nice pistol......I can understand the feeling of loss. Last week I came --->][<---- this close to hitting the buy it now button for one. I have a TRP and a Leatham Legend TGO 1 and figure it would round out the stable. Then my mind came back into focus, remembering that I'd have to explain that to the wife (that and the fact that I really want a Wilson Supergrade in Turnbull blue). I had a Pro on order in Oct. 2010, but canceled it and ordered a Wilson CQB Elite, my way.

To the uninitiated,,,,, the Pro is the FBI HRT(and a couple of other agencies) weapon. It comes one way from the factory. No modifications can be made if you order one (and wait about 18 months). You have to send it back to have the Custom Shop change it to your way.

Presently there are only about 4000 civilian guns produced since 1998 (?).

Good luck with your Pro!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully the Custom Shop can get those sights on there quickly for you and she returns home soon.
    George,
So many guns, so little money.

Nice looking gun and nice group as well.

Only thing is, I could do without the "Professional" on the slide. Seems, ummm, lets call it unnecessary to me.
