Animated avatars are already supported. E.g., look at Karl/PA's avatar.

New skins require more time and effort on my part. It's hard enough keeping one skin up to date :P

I wouldn't mind a job posting forum under the classifieds. Might as well network while we're here.

Ok... with the number of old threads being replied to, in which the replier seems oblivious to the age of the thread, I think that, if feasible, a Pop Up notification should be added such that when someone attempts to click the "reply" button on a thread more then 30 days old they get a warning stating that the thread is more then 30 days old, and do they really want to post a reply.

    (Sorry for the run-on sentence....)

    Thoughts?

Dan, could a thread be set-up for "last minute alerts" where the "hard-default" setting (?) is to alert immediately via e-mail (text messasge?) of shoots, training, meet-ups, etc. with the option for one to "opt out" if it gets too busy, lost interest, etc.

I already have county-specific forums set up, but I have them hidden for the time being while we pick up members. I figured it wasn't a good idea to have 40 forums with no one talking in them as having more forums than users makes the site look very bare.

I plan on opening up the county-specific forums very soon!
My take on that would be to break the state into sections and have sectional forums. There's no need for a Erie County forum, Warren County forum, an Elk County forum, etc... Perhaps something like North Western, South Western, North Central, South Central, North Eastern, South Eastern, and have the state chopped into 6 semi equal parts.

Also, maybe I've spent too much time in the chat room to notice it, but a map (something like frapr map maybe) with pin marks for ranges with addresses and phone numbers. Something we can reference to when traveling, or planning a group shoot in an area we're not 100% familiar with.

I had another suggestion, but I'll be damned if I can recall what it was. I'll add it if i remember. (reserves this space for an idea later on) *stamp*

Would it be helpful if the rifle forum was in two parts one for carbines (pistol caliber rifles ) and one for rifles ( rifle caliber ).

also the hand gun forum one for revolvers and the other for semi autos .

Other forums have these; however some of those forums where there are too many subdivisions it seems to lack traffic.

Could a spot be created to post targets. These targets could then be printed out to take to the range.

Is there a place for this already that I have missed?
