Default Langhorne rod and gun club

    Hello,
New to the forums. Just wanted to know if anyone here knows anything about langhorne rod and gun club. I am looking at joining a club and wanted to see if anyone had first hand knowledge of this facility?
    Thanks!

Quick Search will pull up a bunch of LRGC info.. And even some current info as I think this is the second or third thread I'm seen on the club recently.

I have no first hand knowledge.

From what I have heard. There is/was a short waiting list. The waiting list doesn't seem to be too bad. The biggest problem people have had is finding a sponsor. I believe the sponsor needs to be a member in good standing for a certain amount of time (some reason 3 years jumps out to me). It seems the sponsor is responsible for the person. In if you screw up, that can affect your sponsor.

Again, not first hand knowledge. I'm only been to the club a couple times and watched the Trap shoots. It seems like a nice club, but I didn't tour the grounds, just hung out at the trap range.

Edit: Just pasted the threads that seem to have langhorne Rod in the titlle

The problem with shooting Chinese bullets is 15 minutes later you wanna shoot again.

Thanks for the reply!! I have searched and read the threads just wanted to see if anyone had any first hand knowledge of the club and it's members. I shoot a lot of "black guns" and I know some clubs are too accepting of that.

    Welcome to the forum.

I don't have any first hand experience with LRGC.

Falls twp rifle and pistol is also out your way. I enjoy shooting there. They have been excepting new members recently.

    Good luck.

Great club, I love it. You may have gotten more responses if you posted in the Bucks section of this forum though

Thanks for the input. I was on the website for falls the other day and it says their waiting list is full as well as their membership. I just want to find somewhere to shoot over 100yds in the area. I just bought a new rifle for long distance shooting and shooting 100yds with it feels like driving a ferrari in a school zone!!

I am not sure how often they update their website, but i would call and ask. The website said they were at capacity when i got back in awhile ago.
