Doylestown, mid-Bucks Co. gunsmith/finishing?

Looking for someone in my area who still does the old, original style of dark, polished blueing. Restoring an old '41 Enfield No. 4 MK.I T sniper and want to get her original finish back. Any references greatly appreciated. Thnx.

Sean is good, but he doesn't do hot blueing AFAIK. But he might be able to refer you to someone locally. His number is 215-996-1603.

Call Dale at Big Sky Gun Shop 267-347-4522, he does hot bluing and other finishes too.

I saw Dale on Tuesday, your Enfield is done. Did you get in to pick it up yet? How did the blueing turn out?

Probably too late now, but the correct finish on a No.4 Enfield is not blued. It is first parkerized and then given a coat of Suncorite, which is like black paint, but very durable (and highly toxic).
