Default Who Here Has Bought a Sig Pro 2022

Just curious how many guys/gals here have recently (over the past year) purchased a Sig Sauer SP 2022 Pro in either .40, .357 or 9mm? I bought a 9mm 2022 a couple months ago. I always have been a Sig fan but never wanted to spend $900 when there were plenty of other guns I wanted that cost alot less. So when I seen the 2022 at $350 I was to say at the least very interested. I was also kinda worried. I was thinking why is a Sig Sauer priced at under $400? I was thinking something is wrong with them and all kinds of bad thoughts trying to justify the very low price. I bought it anyway and needless to say my worries were all for nothing. Its every bit the same as any other Sig (aside from the poly frame) The gun is just awesome. It might be my favorite now, its is now my main carry gun.

I would just like to see howm many people have bought one or will def be buying one soon so if you dont mind post in here if you bought one

    thanks!

I bought one a while back in 9mm.
I agree that it's performance is on par with the rest of the Sig line. If you ever wander over to sigforum you'll see that it's regarded highly.

Was one of my first pistol for 3gun . Very accurate and 100% reliable only down side was the amount of holsters made for it.

Is that good wink or a bad wink? I ask because I'm looking for SP2022 in .40 cal for IDPA. I looked at the P250 and liked the way it felt, but I'm not sure how it would handle .40 S&W. A guy at the range let me shoot his 9mm P250 and I liked it a lot. I just think the SP2022 feels more like a Sig Classic.

What I really want is a P229 Elite in .40 cal, but they have been hard to come by and I really want a Five Seven and the new P938. Figured the SP2022 would hold me over until next year.

I bought one a year or two ago in 40. Very nice, big, but nice. The only thing I did to it was replace the plastic guide rod with a metal one, and had a guy make a nice holster for it. Very reliable, accurate and well made ! Don't think you can find much better for the money!

Bad wink. They are not known to be the best guns. I think for the money a SP gun would serve you MUUUUUCH better.

I've never seen much bad, if any, written about the SP 2022. I owned one several years ago in .40 S&W. I also owned a P250 in 9mm. I never shot the P250 very well, but the SP 2022 was very easy to keep on target, and went bang every time. I sold both of them to two different friends of mine who liked them for different reasons, but if I had to pick one over the other, it would definitely be the SP 2022.

As for a holster, I carried it in a Blackhawk Serpa. I had to order it direct from Blackhawk, since it is not a high volume seller, but it worked well, and I never shot myself in the leg while drawing.

Anyone know of a dealer in the Lehigh valley or Bucks Co with 2022s in stock? I have yet to see one in real life.
