I think it looks cool. Why? Are you thinking that you don't like it? I did the same thing with my Noveske. Yours looks better though so I may put another layer of the red on mine.

I DO like it, but I also like the all black look. I guess I'm kind of torn. I really think the color is a good thing (functional) on the fire/safe markers, but I am afraid the rest could be too much, so I thought I'd bounce it off the forum.

I've done full color fill on all my AR's except for my Camo Duracoated one. I like it. I use high end nail polish (about 9 dollars a bottle from a salon supply store) for my fill jobs. To make the red really pop out use a coat of white first. I also reccomend French Manicure for the white. Think it's called Alpine white.

Paint it on with the supplied brush in the cap. Wait till its about 3/4 dry and wipe any excess off with a Q-tip dipped in nail polish remover. Then double wipe with a lint free rag with just a bit of remover on it. Took me about an hour to do my first trying to perfect the technique but now I can do a full Stag lower in about 25 minutes. I've even color filled my hash marks and numbers on my rear sight.

I've also color filled my suppressed Ruger Mark II. I'm thinking of doing a black color fill on one of my stainless S&W bottom feeders just to see how it turns out.

I've also have done one with Crayon if your afraid of paint. Looks just as nice but dosent last as long.
