    Default Sig 522 iron sights?

I've got a Sig 522 which is a lot of fun and plenty accurate with a cheapo red dot on it. But batteries don't last forever and neither do cheapo scopes.
So I'm looking into iron sights for it. Sig has these http://www.sigsauer.com/upFiles/pros...-sight-set.jpg $80 isn't too painful if they are any good. Anyone ever had/tried them?
I've found other ones for over double the price at different places. I just don't want to spend a ton of money.
I have a set of rings and a scope that fit on it, but I'm looking to go the iron sight route.
Edit: I found the same thing $10 cheaper at TopGun

I bought a dovetail picatinny rail I bought on eBay that slides into the dovetail on the "gasblock". I've got magpul mbus sights on the gun. The one thing I've noticed is like most out there, my gasblock is a bit canter a few degrees off center to the right. So getting the sights lined up is a bit tricky. Then if you run a sling on the sling loop which is on the block as well, that may torque the block and make it shift as well. There's only a set screw holding it in place. Not the most ideal place to run a front sight. Best bet is to get the rail system for the gun and then all should be well for using iron sights.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

    Exactly what Rovert said.

Plus the "gas block" picatinney rail-piece will set the front sight fairly tall for co-witness without a spacer on your optic.

Sadly the whole set-up is the weakest link in an otherwise outstanding rifle.
All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.
