Re: How do you feel about AR15 color fill?
I would worry that white crayon or grease pencil would melt. I'm thinking about the barrel markings on my Mosin. That gets red hot after a few clips.

Re: How do you feel about AR15 color fill?
That's a valid concern but I doubt the lower receiver of an AR-15 gets that hot to begin with. With that said I was thinking of making this mod to my M&P 15-22. If it doesn't work out though I just wanted to make sure I can remove the fill without any permanent left overs?
Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

I like it, looks nice. Wouldn't mind doing that to mine. I have
lots of bottles of high end nail polish (I'm guessing OPI).I dislike the diamond commercials, give me something useful like guns, ammo or cookware.

Yep OPI.
My better half still retains here beauty licence so I get to shop at the supply house with her. I've bought alot of stuff out of there. I absolutely love te buffing pads and files for gunshithing work. Nothing like buying wholesale.
Next on my list to try us the UV cured polish.www.Steelvalleycasting.com is your new home for coated bullets and custom ammo.
