Default Ruger Fan and didn't know it.

Ruger Fan and didn't know it. I like Rugers guns but I didn't know that other then Berettas I own more Rugers then anything else.

I have the Miini 14, Mk III Bull barrel 22LR, SR1911 and recently SR9C.

I had the nearly 8" Super Blackhawk in 44mag and 4" SS 6 in 357 but I sold them getting married.

    Who else like Rugers?

I ended up with three Rugers...my hub has two Smiths (okay one of the Rugers is a .22 so we share that one).

He wants to replace one of his Smiths though....

I really like Ruger so far.

    I don't own a single Ruger. I think it's because I borrow my dad's Ruger's enough that I feel like I own them!

Two here. 4" SS GP100 with Wolff spring kit, and MKIII Target with 6-7/8 tapered barrel. Both are keepers!

Got 2 Rugers in the house. A 10/22 with a few of the new Ruger high cap mags (finally, Ruger, what took so long?) Makes a good HDW in a pinch. My mags are stuffed with CCI Stingers. The other Ruger is a 7.5" Redhawk .44 mag with a Bushnell 6X in a Weigland mount. Prints just under 4" at 100yds if I do my part. What sucks is it is my son's gun, not mine, so i have to borrow it.

I have the Mark II, 10/22, SR9c, Mini 14 & am reluctantly selling my brother my P95(I want him to have something reliable). the only one that's ever given me problems is my 10/22(never buy a gun from Wal-Mart!). The rest have been problem free & fairly accurate, well except my Mini 14's groups seem to walk out a bit after the barrel warms up. Good guns & great values.

My Wal Mart 10/22 was touchy when new. I hand racked the piss out of it and applied a thin layer of synthetic grease on the rub areas instead of oil. With CCI mini mags and CCI stingers, it is 100%. It is the carbine. I removed the forend band and got the barrel off the stock via the socket and sandpaper method, and it is quite accurate out to 100 yds, no matter if the barrel is warm or not. Does not group well after a thorough cleaning, though. It tightens back up after 50 rds or so.

My bro-in-law's Mini 14 does the same thing. We don't even keep score until the barrel gets warm. When cold, the group starts out in BFE until it reaches "operating temperature". It's a funny little rifle.

I hope to find out if I'm a fan tomorrow. Today I traded in my Walther P22 and picked up a 22/45. I'll probably swing by the gamelands tomorrow to see how it shoots with and without my surpressor.
