Help Help with CCP revoked

Ok, I've read several posted comments about having (unfortunately) your conceal carry revoked. I have a question and not sure if i can do anything about it cause i would like one BACK. A few YEARS ago(2009) I was traveling in NY (long Island) and I have forgotten that i had a FRAME (no spring, hammer, trigger) of a 1937 hungarian 32acp. Now it as 5am after not sleeping for 32 hrs and a local NY deputy happened to pull me over. doing 65 (pa legal) in a 55 (ny legal).. OK my bad. I must have really giving this guy a hard time cause next thing i knew I had two other cars and officers "tossing" my already messy car. The FRAME was in a wooden box wrapped in an exploded paper diagram of the missing parts (it was a project). I had forgotten about it. I apologized and showed my PA carry and honestly stated I had forgotten about it. I would only be in NY for 2days. IT WAS A FRAME anyway. Didn't matter, they took me IN, for an ILLEGAL weapon. Took my gun and permit. I had a NY arrest record but the conviction was overturned. Ok fast forward - about 8months later I get a letter stating my carry permit is revoked in PA because of what happened in NY. i have NOTHING on my state PA record at all nor do i have anything in my personal FBI file (i checked). Now (2012) i even get denied on a PICS....WHF? any thoughts?

For all intensive porpoises, the frame is the "firearm". You probably need to speak with an attorney about how to ensure that your record is indeed clean if the conviction was overturned.

why did you allow them to search?

The "SEARCH" was completely done by the 3 officers in moments... i opened my mouth to say WHY??? and it was over. hence to "overturned" status. I wanted to go after them for not even reading me my maranda BUT...that's another story...NOW i cant even buy a shotgun or anything else that requires a PICS.

A thought, should i RE-APPLY for my permit and be ready to fight back if denied?

Do you have paperwork indicating that the conviction was actually overturned? If not, perhaps you should work on getting a certified copy of the discharge.

If it were I, I would not reapply until I had my ducks in a row.

TY - yea = just feeling a bit slighted and not sure why - hell i was told i CANT see the pics report because it is "dynamic" and changes on the fly???

Get a hold of GunLawyer001 here ( http://forum.pafoa.org/members/gunlawyer001/ ). His name is Phil Kline. This is the type of law he specializes in. His rates are reasonable, and he is located in Quakertown. You really don't want to try and deal with this on your own.
