    Question Price of 357 magnum ammo ?

    Local Walmart gets $48.00 for a 100 round box ? Am I that out of touch with 357 ammo ?Or just shooting my 22lr & 9mm a whole lot more !

    About the cheapest you're going to find .357 is about 20-22 per 50, and that's bulk.

    THe 100 round pack of Remington 125 grain SJHP that Walmart sells for $47.95 is actually very good ammo, but like you said- pricey i dont think its going to get any cheaper though, if you can fingd the Blazer brass at the LGS they sell for about $26.95 per 50.

    Yah 9mm and .22lr is the way to go.

    just bought a box of hsm bear loads, 180 grain hard cast from cabelas for like 26 bucks for 50. it has excellent ratings, on line

    What's funny is I don't find 357 and 44 much more expensive to reload than 40s or 45s. I stopped buying factory magnum ammo a long time ago, it's just too damn expensive.
    Let us hope for the best, but let us also prepare for the worst.
