Default Annual Spring Sporting Goods Only Sale

OK everyone, it's that time of year again. Time for the Annual Spring Sporting Goods Only Garage Sale. This sale is open to any PAFOA member that would like to participate.

As before, I'll host it at my place in Lemont. THE DATE IS NOW SET FOR JUNE 22-23. I'll do the advertising and those selling can chip in what they want to help cover the costs.

Here's a partial listing of stuff I know will be there:

Lyman Tru Line Jr. reloading press set up for .45 Colt (not ACP)
Lyman Tru Line Jr. reloading press, not dies
    Other reloading bits and pieces
Empty, cleaned brass (lots of .38 spec)
    Holsters
    Maxpedition Versipak (Jumbo S Type)
Rock River Arms AR hard carrying case
Some Ammo (35 Rem, 260 Rem, other)
    AR-15 (9mm custom built carbine)
    Streamlight TLR1S light
Ruger Mark III .22LR (New in Box)
    Ruger KP94 9mm
    Savage 12FV in .204 Ruger (w/6-24X scope)
    32" Sanyo TV (works good)
    WeaponShield CLP (pens and bottles)

Whatever anyone else brings (there are always several more handguns and rifles from various people).

There WON'T BE any romance novels, pots and pans, dinner ware, vases, carnival glass, clothes (other than mil surp or hunting).

If you decide to participate, let me know what you might be selling and we'll get it listed here for everyone to see.

The exact address for the sale is:

    307 Matilda Ave.
    Lemont, PA

Ron, I checked the PSU schedule and 2nd summer session move in weekend is June 22-23, that might work out best with the increased traffic in town. That would be my suggestion.

OK, because of my work schedule, it probably needs to be June 15-16 (set up on the 14th) or June 22-23 (set up on the 21st). June 22-23 is move in weekend for the summer semester so it is possible there might be a bit more traffic, just don't know.

Let's firm this up. Let me know your thoughts. Get the word out, the more people that hear about it the better it is for everyone.

More traffic means more potential buyers. Good for sellers. I'm ok with either, but i've got a good feeling about the 15th.

    THE DATE HAS BEEN SET

22-23 June (Friday and Saturday, clean up on Saturday evening or Sunday morning the 24th). See post #1 for more info.

There are a lot of things going on in June. On June 13-17 (or so) there is a big celebration in Baltimore. There will be a horde of tall ships in the Inner Harbor that you will be allowed to go on and the Blue Angels will be performing on the weekend. We're going to take the grandkids down so the 15/16 is out.

IF YOU WANT TO SELL SOMETHING AND CAN'T MAKE THE SALE:
Bring the sale items over and give me a sheet with your selling price and the lowest you will go. I will negotiate on your behalf.

Any guns that have to be transferred, I can do that at the sale.

You can bring stuff over any time during the evening June 18-20 or anytime June 21 (that's when I'll be doing the setup of the garage). Best is to give a call to the shop before coming over to make sure someone is there (814-867-0867).

Hope to see a bunch of you.

Any questions or comments, post here or drop me a PM.

I will try to make it Ron, had a good time last year. I'll probably have a like-new Ruger LC9, an XDM40 magazine, brass, some dies, a case trimmer, and some other stuff to bring.

Gathering random bits and pieces I've got lying about as well. Definitely have a ton of brass, pachmayr American Legend 1911 grip, a spare a2 pistol grip, an ar armorers wrench, and a Darryl's scout mount for the 91/30. I'll have to see what else I haven't touched in a bit.
