Who wants to help (teach me) with a welding project?
I have a Jeep that needs some rust spots on the floor boards repaired. I'm not excited that 95% of the cost of the job is labor. I know, it is what it is, but basic welding is someting I'd like to learn how to do and I guess this is one way to jump into it. I'm not looking to become a pro or work in that field. I'd just like to pick up some basic skills and be able to do some things with my beer brewing stuff as well.
I know I can take a class, I probably will at some point, but that's down the road. I have enough stuff going right now to commit to a course at a tech school/community college.
Anyone interested in showing me the ropes and drinking a few beers?

No one, huh?
Anyone at least have some tips? I know someone has worked on a Jeep. I'm looking over at NAXJA now.

Nevermind, in the interest of not accumulating another project with a second child on the way, other things that need to be worked first, and the fact I'm selling it, I'm just paying to have the work done.
