    Default State Parks with Ranges

I'm looking for some state parks in the area that have public ranges. I'm trying to plan a weekend at a rented cabin somewhere on this side of the state. I'm relatively new to the area, but remember there was one about 2-3 hrs away from the city that had both cabins and a 100m range, I just cannot remember what it is called or what it was near. The range was just some berms next to the road, no safeties, lanes, or anything. Ideally I'd like to find a place with a similar setup.

    Any suggestions/help?

Little Pine State Park, there is a camp ground in the park as well as private rental cabins near by. The range has 200 yard, 100 yard, 50, and 25 as well as a small pistol area. Fogot where you were Blair county? it would be about an hour and 45 minutes north og you in Lycoming county.

There's a nice "roadside" range on the Burma Road near Locust Lake and Tuscarora State Parks (Schuylkill County). I'm not positive, but I don't think either park has cabins.

There are a couple in the area of the triangle formed by 476/80/81. You just need a hunting license or annual range permit since they are State Game Land ranges. I'll look up the numbers if they would be helpful. Just shoot a PM.
