Ok so I've decided to share what I've got so far, not as much as some of you but we all have to start somewhere.



Had the M9 for about 2 months now, only took me another 2 weeks to convince the wife to let me start buying my AR parts. Finally had some free time to put into the lower.

rest of the sections are coming from R-Guns. Seemed to be the only place able to fill orders. Of course I've still got a 2 week wait before it ships.

Nice wolf ammo! I dont reload and hate picking up brass so why pay more?! Also before people put their 2cents in, I like cleaning my weapons.

I've seen people have mixed reactions over Wolf, tore through all 50 rounds without incident. Until I start reloading my own I'll use what I can find on the cheap side. Currently have 300 of Winchester and 50 of Federal.

Nice start and steel cased ammo for the win. I have around 2000 rounds of Tula 9mm through my M&P 9, every round went bang and landed where I wanted it to. To date I don't have broken internals or a worn barrel like some suggest you will get. I also feed steel cased 223 through my Colt AR-15, if it wasn't for that ammo I wouldn't be able to shoot regularly. No point in spending top dollar on brass for training, hole punching or general plinking IMO.

I use steel cased all the time for plinking. I only use my brass/reloads for bench shooting. I have never experienced any broken parts/function issues with any steel case ammo. Over on AR15.com there is a good write up on them showing that all the "myths" on steel cased ammo are just that, myths. Although I will agree it is quite more dirtier than brass cased.

picked up 60 rounds at my local wally world tonight... I mean come on $5 per box. Even I couldn't pass that up and yeah it worked in the 9 so why not my AR once it's complete.

5$ a box? I thought those days were long gone!! I would have picked up every box they had, or is Walmart limiting you too? Im lucky I stocked up during the summer, so I havent bought ammo in months.You said you were going with an Rguns upper, which one? heavy barrel,m4 barrel etc...we need details! lol

Wally world is on a 3 box a day limit. Ordered a 16" standard weight barrel M4 handguard, A2 flash hider, and their 6 position collapsible stock for 5.56.
