Talk me into/out of buying

I have been thinking about the purchase of an FN 5.7 to use for a carry gun and retiring my Colt Delta Elite.

Please give a list of the pro & cons of the 5.7.

Buy it! 100 yard shots can be made accuratly. The gun up close is a tack driver and recoil is near zero. The weight to ammo capacity is amazing. The only real disadvantage I can think of is the ammo is not common like your 9mm and 45acp.

Daycrawler is 100 % correct. This is a great weapon & as he stated the recoil is almost nonexistant allowing for fast follow up shots. Accuracy is also superb. I don't think you will be disappointed. Ammo cost & not as common as 9mm/ .40S&W/ 45 ACP. are as stated the only down side. If you get the 30 round mags it will probably still weigh less than your Colt. Thats my 2 cents.

I haven't looked for ammo, but have heard that it is particularly sensitive to bullet seating depth when reloading.

I want one.

the pistol as well as the rifle. They are superb shooting machines with
no problems. 30 round magazines is a crap load of firepower.

I would be curious for you to explain the circumstances of this blow up. Was it factory ammo? Anything outside of the ordinary from your perspective?

I only found the pistol to have 20 round mags. Do they actually make a 30 round capacity?
