Default Any reccomended trails at the water gap?

Girlfriend & I will be hiking the deleware water gap. Obviously, we want to stay on the PA side. Any favorite trails for a somewhat mild day hike?

I will be CCing. From my searching, I cannot step into any park (fed) buildings correct?

Just stay out of the fields if I'm down there chasing groundhogs. And yes you cannot go into the fed buildings if CC or OC. But for just hiking you will be fine.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

try the Mcdade trail. It's a bicycle/hiking trail that runs from the Hialeah picnic area near the gap to Milford.

The trail is easy to follow and fun to hike.

If you see a man with two Pitbull type dogs open carrying that would be me.

The Appalachian trail runs thru the Town of Water Gap. You can find parking up the
road behind the Deer Head Inn. There are NO government building in that area so
you will have no problems CCing. Take the AT to the top and the Road back down.
Great vistas at the top overlooking the Gap. Water falls and beautiful parkland.
    Have a nice hike.

Buildings that are prohibited are supposed to be posted.

There is some potential gray area in the law for things like restrooms to be allowable, so long as they aren't posted.

    YMMV, IANAL

With the lack of a decent sustained freeze this year and dry conditions be extra careful to prevent ticks especially deer ticks.

Not in the Gap or the Natl Rec area but check the DCNR pages for the Delaware State Forest 'Thunder Swamp' trail system, almost 60 miles of trails thru a variety of forestland. You can carry, hunt, fish, camp or jsut hile sections...
