BATFE rules NFA Gun Trusts null and void?

I was at Surplus City and a LEO walked in spouting off about how "the BATFE passed a ruling that all NFA Gun Trusts are now null and void because the assets depreciate when fired". I did a Google search and found nothing. Anyone know or hear anything about this?

What's worse than taking legal advice from a LEO? Taking legal advice from a LEO inside a gun shop.

Since half of them don't even know what the Pa UFA is, I doubt many know what the ATF is.

To be honest, the only LEO's I've seen inside gun shops had the most obnoxious hollier than thou attitude I've witnessed, ever.

I'm sure there are good and knowledgeable one's out there. I've just never met any of them.

I'm not a fan of the franchised NFA gun trusts or the self-created Quicken trusts, but this is nonsense. If your trust is determined to be invalid, it won't be because NFA firearms go down in value.

I agree that cops and gun shop employees in general are the worst source of gun law, other than the broadcast media, which intentionally misrepresent the facts. Cops and gun shop employees just get it wrong by accident.
