Default Does this look right on my glock?

First time glock owner here, took my newly acquired glock 26 to the range today and after breaking it down and inspecting it I'm seeing some stuff that is throwin me off.

Excuse my lack of knowledge on the verbiage of glock parts.

First, see the rear slide plate? It shouldn't be chipped like that right?

Secondly, what is the bent part? Should it be bent like that? When I look up the Magwell with the gun assembled you can see it making contact with the slide. Can you make that out?

Thoughts guys? There's a glock day at the local shop next weekend I'm going to bring it to. Whats the consensus?

    The "chip" is completely normal.

I'm not quite sure what the other thing you are referring to is. Maybe circle it in a picture, or draw an arrow? MS Paint FTW!

Thanks guys! I'm at my girls apartment with my iPhone and range bag. I can't circle anything :/.

Should the back plate be replaced or anything? How bad will the chips get?

There's nothing wrong with it. It isn't chipped, that's just how it's made. It's so you can use a thin object to pull the back plate down to take it off.

It's not chipped, it's supposed to be that way.

That's your ejector. It's supposed to have a bend.

You shouldn't need anything but your thumb to take off the plate.

So how do we feel about clip draw rear slide plates?

Thanks for the tips guys! I've got a good amount of ccw options but I must admit that I'm the most accurate with my 26. I was worried I would have to swap the glock out of Carry rotation.

You can get replacement plates. i have seen them on ebay. They come plain or with laser etching.

But I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know. I've never done it without using something for leverage. Maybe depends on fingernail length and glock generation?
The instructional videos I've seen online usually use something to get it started as well.

It isn't chipped. The part with the piece 'missing' is actually the slide itself. Not the back plate. You could replace the back plate until you were blue in the face and that gap would still be there.
