Which Pistol to choose?!?!
Heres a big one people, I am looking for an auto, 9mm. Ive looked at Glock, Springfield XD and Ruger SR9c. I got a SR9 for the little lady and I like it very much. I seemed to lean toward the compact for a, sometimes carry pistol and most likely to keep in the truck. I also want something I will enjoy at the range and accuracy matters. The Glock seemed really nice and so did the Springfield. Can you see my dilemma here. I haven't even throw in the S and W yet. What do you all think? Which Glock Model would you go with if you chose them? Thanks Y'all

Re: Which Pistol to choose?!?!
Cool I just posted somthing on glock talk that might be helpful as far as Glocks are concerned..
Deff go with the G26. I have the 17, 19, and 26.
The G17 is a Gen 1 BZ serial number and that stays in the safe.
The G19 is a Gen 3 and I use it for the range only so far.
The G26 is a Gen 3 and I carry it daily.
IMHO there is a huge difference carrying the 19 versus the 26. The extra length of slide and frame is very noticeable. Im 5'8" 200.
Like you said, you can use the g19 mags with the g26. I bring extra loaded g19 mags with me when I travel. For holster, I use the factory Glock Combat Sport Holster. With a T shirt or button down you really cant tell you're carrying because the holster is super slim and hugs the pistol to your side.
When I ride my CBR600RR I carry the G26 in the Glock Combat Sport Holster with full gear ( textile jacket, jeans, boots, gloves, helmet, and sometimes backpack) no problem.
Since im a student on a budget the Glock holster only cost me $12.99 at the local mom and pop gun shop. I bought another one on Ebay for $17.99 and it included the matching Glock single magazine holster ( $9.99 value).
Like I said before in my past post about the glock holster. I love it so much that if you buy one and dont like it, Ill buy it from you (for used price of course).
Hope this helps friend-o

Re: Which Pistol to choose?!?!
In my opinion there is a huge difference when you carry it concealed.
There is a G22. Its a full size 40s&w. The 9mm equivalent is G17.

Re: Which Pistol to choose?!?!
Besides, Doesent really matter whether you go with the 19 or 26... Eventually you will have them both!
Right now its about picking which one you want FIRST!
Trust me.. this is what happened to me.
Good Luck

I'm partial to the SR9c and SR40c. Affordable, American-Made, Reliable, Unmatched Warranty and Customer Service, Accurate, Highly Concealable.

Re: Which Pistol to choose?!?!
I would give serious consideration to the Walther PPQ, something of an obscure choice at the moment. It took me quite a few 9mm attempts before I finally found the PPQ, which is perfect for me. The trigger itself sells the gun. The only downside is a limited selection of holsters given that it hasn't been out that long and isn't "mainstream" yet.
