Well, looking at the first group buy I think it was a good idea. Props to the OP.

However, I propose a new group buy. My goal is to get at least 18 mags, 8.50 per mag at that rate. If there is interest to more than 90 then the price goes down to 7.95 per mag.

In the last auction the problem became redistribution as this was quite a task, was time consuming, and required additional funds to cover the new shipping. Well....if anyone is interested in this group buy please say so.

The catch is, I will not ship to anyone. If you are interested then I will meet you at the upcoming VF gun show. So this would likely be limited to people in SE PA or those that like to drive. This will be cheaper than shipping individually and you can personally come and get it. If you want in, but want me to ship, I can do that too but you will have to pay for shipping.

Payment in advance. Personal checks would be easiest and cheapest. I can do Paypal with a surcharge to cover their BS charges. MO is fine too, but that is expensive for the person buying it.

So if anyone is interested in another ak mag group buy, where I will personally distribute the mags at the show, then post your interest below and how many you want. If there is enough interest we can take the next step.

Thanks. Just ran some numbers for 40 mags, with shipping fees the total price comes to $8.97 per mag....not much of a deal unless we get more people in for 90 or more. I'm looking for 5-10 personally

25 mags at $7.95 per mag = $198.75 + your share of the shipping + paypal. If you owed me exactly 200 dollars, your paypal fee would be $6.10 as per this site http://ppcalc.com/

total 75 , almost to 90. And remember, if you want in you have to be at the vf show for the handoff having already paid for the mags.

Once we get to 90 though, we are done. Over 90 mags and the price does not come down but shipping will go up causing everyone to pay more proportionally. Thus, once we get 90, this group buy is concluded. But if there is interest I could do more than 1 order after this one is done and paid for.

As a hypothetical:

Now to divide the shipping proportionally amongst the 4 buyers.

(I know that only adds up to 98% but the difference is in cents)

which brings us to $40.06 for shipping, 83 cents must have disappeared in the rounding. So if these people got those amounts of mags you would pay that much respectively, unless you want to use paypal which would be an additional few bucks.
