New BC Member! ... and a few Q's

Hi all,

Just saying hello from Bucks County. New member to the forums but not new to firearms. PAFOA seems like a great source of info and it's always nice getting to know some fellow shooters as well.

Quick question: Anyone know of any 300-500yd.+ shooting ranges?

Wicen's is only 100yds. I know about the 1,000yd. place out in the Williamsport area, and will definitely be making a few trips out there come spring time. New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club has a 600yd. range, but between the membership cost and inconvenience of travel, that might be a bit of a long shot (pun intended) for weekend trips.

Langhorne/Falls Hills are only 200yd. max, and getting a membership there probably wouldn't be worth the hassle for the extra 100yds. I have a few friends that let me use their properties on given days, but I feel bad heading there every weekend to practice. Any recommendations or discussion is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In the immediate area, no a whole lot. A further search you do have New Holland. Another good one is Ontelaunee: http://ontelaunee.org/

They have a 300yd range. Not a bad drive, closer than New Holland.

Hey thanks for the suggestion, never heard of them before. I've already been in contact with New Holland and Atglen, both of which are members only clubs. They're both 500yd.+ however, so I may need to make a few concessions as far as travel goes if I'm looking to get into really long distance shooting.

Do you know if Ontelaunee is members only?
