Know a good gunsmith?
Here is the deal. Last year my best buddy passed away. I was given his guns by the family. One is a Colt Trooper Mark III 357 in blue with a 6' barrel. The gun is just a shooter. It is in rough cosmetic shape. It has some light pitting and surface scratches. However the damn thing is a tack driver. It shoots way better than my ability.
Here is the gun.
I am seriously thinking of sending this out to get refinished. I have no money into it, so I feel I can spend a few bucks on it. I am very partial to shinny guns. I was contemplating getting it nickel plated. Does anyone know of a competent gunsmith in NE PA I could take this to. I would rather walk it in than ship it by FEDEX.
I dunn, maybe it would be cheaper just to buy a used one in nickel.Last edited by CZ40P; February 11th, 2008 at 08:55 PM.
