    Default Ar15 pistols

Now I know that this has probably been discussed b4 but I was wondering what realistic accuracy out of one of them is? I wouldnt expect sub moa accuracy at 100 yards but what about a decent group at say 15-20 yards, especially using some thing like the isaraeli sling method. I'd like something to keep in the car that can be loaded and since they are pistols that would be perfectly fine since I have a ltcf. Also how easy is it to fix a stock to them if I wanted to she one in the future. Mind you I know nothing about Ars.

Accuracy is highy dependant on barrell length. You can get 5.5 inch barrells, for your AR pistol, or you can opt for an 11 inch or larger. If your going to be keeping it in your car, are you going to have the sling around you at all times? probably not. So it would probably be better to practice at the range without it slung. I've found that mine is very accurate compared to "typical pistols"

Do not put a stock or a forward grip on it.

I forgot to mention that. I believe if you put a stock on it it is classified as an SBR, a forgrip makes it an AOW? (Not sure, im sure someone will correct me). But both need Federal tax stamps.

Makes it an AOW, if you put a stock on it, it's now an SBR.

the ar pistol idea has always interested me but I have always kinda seen them as worthless. I never shot one but I would be interested to play with one

This would be for more of a shit hit the fan kinda scenario. I mean ideally I'd prefer my AK but the legalities of carrying a rifle with 200 rounds of ammo around limit that idea. Even though I still can't understand how I can carry a loaded pistol and that's ok but a rifle has to be separated from the ammo.

They're a lot of fun, I really enjoy shooting mine. Really nice muzzle flash at night.

This was shot at dusk, but you can see the muzzle flash.

Not all foregrips make it an AOW, only a vertical foregrip does.

Something like a magpul AFG is acceptable without changing it to AOW status.
