Long rifles in Maryland
Hey guys,
Had a question about having a rifle in md. I have a gun rack in my work vehicle, and normally my .22 or my 30-06 lives there However we recently started a job in md, and while i know i have to leave my handgun at home, can i leave my 30-06 in my gun rack? I have always been under the impression that any firearm transported in md had to be in a case, and that you had to have a reason to have it in your vehicle. Ie to or from range, hunting , to or from place of purchase or repair. However i cannot find any reference to that, the only thing i can find as far as transporting a rifle is they must be unloaded. Any help would be great, it would be nice not to be completely "naked" for the next 2 monthsI wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member

Conrad Vig: Make infected pockets full of bile, sir.
Archie Gates: That's right, Conrad, that's what they do.
