    Default Winchester 1300 choke tubes

Do any 1300 owners have advice on a turkey choke tube for a Winchester 1300 turkey gun? I would love to know what tubes have impressed or disappointed you. Thanks!

Honestly on the 1300's I've hunted with all that was used was the Full choke that came with the guns.

Just pattern it with different loads and stick with the shot size that gives the best results.

    (Mine liked high brass #6's)

I use a Hastings .655. Patterns real nice with Win Super X #4 turkey loads.

I purchased an Extra full choke for my Winchester 1200 pump to use for geese and it worked great. I then put it into my sons Ranger ( which has a scope on it for deer sighted in at 100 yards ) and patterned it at 40 yards WITH the scope... Crosshairs were DEAD on and had one hell of a tight pattern. Took my first turkey with it ... held dead on and dropped it at 52 yards...... just try different loads like the others said and see what works best for you... Good luck
