[Youngwood, PA] A&S Indoor Pistol Range
A&S Indoor Range in Youngwood PA is a great place to do business. They have knowledgable employees, the place is very clean, their pricing is fair, selection is good and they let me teach there several times a year!

Good to know. I attend UPG and have seen ads for them. Guess I will have to stop in now.

The people are extremely nice and helpful. The range is great, but the firearm selection isn't overwhelming. I'd recommend swinging by to fire some rounds off though!

Re: [Youngwood, PA] A&S Indoor Pistol Range
I stopped in for the first time a few weeks ago on my way to WVU from IUP. Told em that I was just there out of curiosity after seeing an ad on IUP-TV, and then months later happening upon the shop.
Unlike many shops with a very limited selection of holsters, and mostly cheap (and built to stay that way) nylon holsters, they have a bunch of good leather ones. Don Hume, Galco, Fobus...etc.
I was looking at a holter for a 642, and told him I didnt have mine there to test it. He gladly handed me one from under the counter. Very nice guy. Didnt buy anything, but thats only because I was broke.

Open til 9pm...
Just take along some comfortable safety glasses and hearing protection. Some will be available if you don't have any. Ken will get you started! He is the guy that runs the range.

If you get hooked on shooting...which I'm sure you will! There is a nice indoor range under the Army Navy in Latrobe. I've shot there lots of times. You can also rent guns at both ranges! Both ranges also have gun shops to buy ammo and accessories. Have fun...let us know how it goes!

Anyone know if they have a gunsmith there?
